How to read "Not stated". It does not mean the vendor has no EU region. It means we could not find a statement of one on a page we could reach — which is the position you are in too when an auditor asks. Where the vendor's own page is gated, that is recorded under trust centres.
Each row is sourced from the vendor's own data-residency or data-location documentation, not from its subprocessor page. Where no such documentation exists — Stripe, Mailchimp, Vercel — that is what the row records. Vercel documents twenty compute regions, which is where code runs, not a commitment about where your data rests; we do not treat the one as the other.
Eighteen of these rows were re-sourced on 18 September 2026, and six changed answer — Intercom, Atlassian, Slack, GitHub, Notion and Miro. Nothing moved at the vendors: we had been reading their subprocessor pages, and then read their residency documentation instead. Those corrections are logged as re-sourcing, not as vendor changes, because a registry whose value is its change history must not record its own improvements as someone else's movement. The earlier observations stay visible on each vendor's page.
